Our mission is to promote civic engagement and a stronger democracy by educating, encouraging, and enabling more Americans to make their voices heard through elections and other institutional processes that ensure their representation and shape their future.

We achieve our mission by taking a highly analytic, data-driven approach to evaluating new and established methods of encouraging participation in our democratic institutions and informing the citizenry on issues of material concern to the public interest.

We share our work with a broad community of practitioners, donors, researchers and others who wish to use our evidence-based research to guide their charitable giving, program design, and other pro-democracy initiatives.
